Young Talent Award for outstanding sound engineering achievements: Thomann Audio Professionell presented the prize at the 28th Tonmeister Conference in Cologne
Since 1984, the VDT has been awarding the Tonmeister Prize for outstanding artistic sound engineering achievements.

The awards are divided into the “Golden Bobby,” the “Young Talent Award,” and the “Surround Award.” . The Young Talent Award honors outstanding sound engineering achievements in five different categories: classical, jazz, popular music, media-based sound art, and sound for film.
